Job Summary:

Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders and pick-ups. Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

As part of our Receiving department, this role will use hand trucks to load and unload vehicles, and drive vehicles to delivery and pickup locations. This role will accurately keep records of all inventory, both received and delivered, and observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo. This is a physically demanding position, meaning our ideal candidate is able to lift and move heavy containers, in addition to possessing a valid commercial driver’s license, and experience with warehouse inventory management.


  • Safely drive trucks to delivery locations
    • Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. 
    • Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record. 
  • Maintain Vehicle Compliance
    • Oversee that the TCS vehicle meets the criteria under the NY State guidelines of vehicle safety inspection.
      • If any repairs to said vehicle need to be made, facilitate these repairs at a reputable repair shop.
    • Ensure the TCS vehicle is inspected, insured, and all documents are displayed properly
    • All necessary parking passes are obtained and displayed.
    • Ensure the vehicle is stored in a safe are at all times.
  • Load and unload Equipment
    •  Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.
    • Unload truck as needed at customer locations.
    • Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
  • Keep accurate records of items shipped and received
    • Accurately report back orders or discrepancies. 
    • Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories 
    • Check in equipment, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear aisles and walkways. Ensure equipment is properly organized. 
  • Warehouse Order Assistance
    • Assist in maintaining appearance of company as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, etc. 
    • Return customer orders by accurately scanning equipment
    • Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations. 
    • Maintain the battery storage room, and report any issues to the Receiving Manager/Dispatch Coordinator.
      • Test batteries to find faults, and perform minor repairs.

Skills/Experience, and Abilities Required:

  • Experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment
  • Must have current NYS driver’s license
  • Must have clean driving record to be considered
  • Be able to drive a large van, or box truck
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items throughout a normal shift
  • Experience with warehouse inventory management

Working Conditions:

  • This is an in-person, full-time, non exempt position.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying equipment cases.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle
  • Safely and reliably maneuver in a warehouse while carrying equipment
