Details
The components used in the Prostop filters are dye-based IR, which used rare earth metals that interacted with UV light, resulting in green to yellow color shift. Some of the filters have “burn in” where the area that isn’t masked by the matte box is a different color, resulting in a visible outline in the shape of the boxed filter area. Prostop are discontinued and no longer available. Any of these remaining that aren’t green or yellow tint were either not exposed to UV light much or never used at all.
