About this Item
The ARRI Alexa Mini can use battery voltages from 10.5 to 34 volts DC, but the camera has a user-programmable low voltage warning with a default value of 22.4 volts. When using V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries, the user should use the menu “System” and “Power” to change the warning level to preferably 12.4 volts to allow a good operating margin.
D-Box can attach to most battery plate hole patterns. See Hole Chart. D-Box is also compatible with ARRI BAP-1.
Used in rental house setting and works as intended. The modification made to it is not approved by Wooden Camera, so we will not accept returns.
D-Box (Alexa Mini Mini LF, Gold Mount) is a custom version of our popular D-Box that adds power distribution, standardized remote startstop, and hot swap abilities for the ARRI Alexa Mini and Mini LF camera. Allows for up to 4 simultaneous outputs with a maximum draw of 3A per output (24V outputs 3A max combined) and 10A total draw limited by an easily accessible fuse. Two 16 inch (40cm) cables exit the power plate with one going to the 8pin LEMO compatible power plug and the other going to the 7pin EXT port.
The bottom of the D-Box has (3) 14-20 holes which can attach directly to our Rod Clamp (15mm LW), Rod Clamp (15mm Studio), and Rod Clamp (19mm). For an adjustable mount system, use the Battery Slide or Recorder Slide paired with the same Rod Clamps listed above.
This product will attach to the ARRI BAP-1 and instructions on how to do this are included in the box.
Please Note In addition to the digital or glass fuse governing the output panels of the D-box, this product contains a secondary fuse for the D-tap ports of the attached battery plate. This fuse is located in a fuse holder within the plate and replacements can be purchased.
